With Summer arriving in a few months, there should be a lot of new art coming from me! Keep an eye out for it!

Sketchmissions are all but complete! I managed to raise a total of $20 which will be going to my Wacom fund/ money for supplies. I ended up going home last weekend and picked up a few cool illustration magazines so I'm going to be looking forward to learning a few new techniques from them! (Actually the Faerie Sketchmission was colored using a few tips from the magazines) 

The biggest thing I'm still trying to improve on is my line art and overall line technique. Since lines make up a good 50% of my work, I feel its a pretty important field to improve on

As always, Commissions are open and I was lucky enough to land 2 new commissions from some people I did some work for on the Sketchmissions.

Every day is spent with the thought of improving my own art.

So as some of you may have noticed, I'm trying to save up for a Wacom Cintiq as well as trying to pay off my academic debt. I'm also trying to find more watchers/followers AS well as make a few people smile. As such, from the first of the month through the 5th of the month, I am going to be dropping my commission prices for basic lineart sketch to 1 dollar.

"Wait? Seriously? One dollar for an Eziekbby sketch? I can actually tell Eziekbby that I want an image of my Dwarf Paladin riding a tricycle through the Death Star and he'll only charge me a dollar? Thats great news! But what if I want some color in my sketches?"

Well I'd be happy to color your images for you, since I honestly think I'm better at coloring than I am illustrations (though I am trying every single day to fix that). How much will I charge to color your 1 dollar sketch? How about an extra dollar? That sounds good- especially since I LOVE coloring and shading.

Remember: The biggest goal I have is to improve as an artist... though lately I've been trying to focus more on my lines/style. Hopefully this will let me improve as an artist, save up some money for a new tablet, and make a few people happy. 

I'll be working on finishing Sign of Zeta tomorrow as well as the Samus Pinup that no one liked. Going to have a better schedule established later this week. Thank you ALL for your kind words and support!

SO those of you paying attention (all 4 of you) may have noticed that I never got around to the Street Fighter II postcards. What happened? Well for starters, I kinda had a bad week that killed my motivation. I was planning to vend at an upcoming convention in March but unfortunately it sold out before I could even apply. Lesson learned, whatever.  No big deal, just gives me more time to better prepare myself for next year. I'm planning on trying to get at least 5 images done per week, be they simple sketches where I try new art styles/just doodles or actual prints with heart put into them. I'm going to try to keep a tentative schedule going but I want to make sure that everyone knows that while I may be working on "Sign of Zeta" or any other design, it might not mean that I get to finish it that week. For the main prints I want to make sure they have a certain level of quality, and the most important objective of any of my designs is to improve as an artist. 

As always, commissions are open and are very affordable in comparison to some other artists out there. I treat every commission as if it were a print, meaning even if its just simple $5 black and white lines I will do everything I can to add as much heart and soul into the piece as I possibly can. All profit from commissions is going to go to my Wacom Cintiq fund so I can hopefully upgrade from my Intros 4.

Gonna watch Kill La Kill all day, might do a doodle of Ryuko with her Senketsu scarf this week.
